SOME GOOD NEWS FOR COMFORT MOTORHOME CLIENTS!
Until now, if you were unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident and/or had to use a courtesy car for a while, you had to phone us and add the car as a temporary change, involving time and cost.
As of June 2007, all new business and renewal insurance certificates under our Comfort schemes will contain some additional wording. Apart from your own registration number, the certificate will allow "any vehicle loaned to the policyholder or any other person or classes of persons entitled to drive as described below, for a maximum of 7 days from a garage, motor engineer or vehicle repairer while the vehicle registration described above is being either serviced, repaired or having an MOT test. Any vehicle loaned to the policyholder or any other person or classes of persons entitled to drive as described below, by a Norwich Union nominated supplier as a result of a claim under this policy: whilst the vehicle registration described above is being repaired or replaced or following theft of the vehicle registration described above".
We hope this new wording will help to keep administration down to a minimum service to a maximum!
