Full Timing - Some points to remember
Having recently attended the Motorhome show at Shepton Mallett, we have been reminded of just how many people have elected to go full-timing, or are planning to do so. You are probably aware, that we at Comfort are one of only very few insurers who will consider taking on full-timers.
It is appropriate then for us to make a few points that may help when considering what is involved. Firstly, we need an address through which we can correspond, and we would expect the motorhome to be registered to that address, and the driving licence to similarly show the same address. One point which is often overlooked is the need to also be on the Electoral Register at that same address. This is not just an insurance issue, our investigations have uncovered the fact that it is a legal requirement to be on the electoral register, so this becomes doubly important
Many people now full-time successfully, but the secret of this success is in thorough preparation and research before setting out.
