The Spring Caravan and Camping show is almost here!
Caravan and motorhome owners have unfortunately had a rough few months due to the weather, and many have actually decided to not travel during the winter months in order to avoid getting into accidents due to the ice, snow, rain and traffic. However, spring is finally on its way, which we are beginning to see this week as the snow is beginning to thaw and the sun is starting to shine. One event that many caravan and motorhome owners will sure to be looking forward to is the Spring Caravan and Camping show, which is only a few weeks away and will kick start the whole camping and caravan event season.
The Spring Camping and Caravanning Show starts on Tuesday the 19th of February at the Birmingham NEC, and is sure to provide exciting exhibitions that will entice motorhome enthusiasts and beginners alike. If you are one of the clever lot who have already booked your tickets then you will probably already have a plan as to what you want to see when you get there. However, there are some things that no-one should miss including special guests such as Springwatch presenter Kate Humble, chef Valentine Warne, and Really Wild show hosts Nick and Andy Torbet. There will also be appearances from Olympic Gold Medallists Tim Baillie and Etienne Scott, as well as Strictly Come Dancing’s Vincent and Flavia.
Furthermore, all the most popular names in caravan and motorhome manufacturing will be there showcasing their newest models including Bailey, Eldiss and Swift. Visitors will also be able to get information on planning their next caravanning holidays, caravan insurance providers, accessories and much more. There is also lessons on how to tow a caravan properly, meaning that those who are somewhat unsure can brush up on their skills – and this is also for free!
Tickets are still available, and cost only £8 for adults if ordered before the event and £10 at the door. Furthermore, children under sixteen gain free entry, meaning not only will this be a great day out for motorhome and caravan enthusiasts, but a cheap one too!
