5 Iconic Car Models Reimagined as Campervans
Besides manufacturing some of the world’s most desired cars - what do Rolls-Royce, DeLorean, Porsche, Aston Martin and Lamborghini all have in common?
None of them make campervans.
In fact, what makes these cars so interesting is the fact that they are all loved and enjoyed for very different reasons.
So, based on the individual features that make these cars so unique to themselves, we decided to let our imaginations run wild.
That’s why we’ve taken some of the most influential models made by each of these five famous car manufacturers, and reimagined them - in campervan style.

The Rolls-Royce Wraith Wanderer
Rolls-Royce represents the ultimate in motoring exuberance.
Since the company’s birth at the turn of the 20th century, each era has ushered in the dawn of a new extravagant model.
And, while comfort and reliability have been the core values of production over the years, there is one word associated with Rolls-Royce that resonates more than any other.
Which is why, if Rolls-Royce designed a motorhome, it would be the most lavish camper on the road – like the 1938 edition Wraith Wanderer.
The spooky dark purple exterior is the mark of mystery often associated with the iconic Phantom models, while the varnished wood al fresco seating area at the top of the vehicle is reminiscent of the luxury speed boats from the 60’s.
When you explore the interior, you get a clear sense of the type of people that would inhabit this vehicle – from rock stars to royalty.
The sight of the shag pile carpet and juke box in the corner will transport you back in time, but the main interior feature is the starry sky of LED lights.
This means that if the weather takes a turn for the worst, you needn’t step outside the vehicle to spend a night under the stars – something motorhome owners all over the world can appreciate.
The Lamborghini Countach LP 500 CAMP S
Back in the 1960’s, when Ferruccio Lamborghini announced he was planning to create a range of sports cars to rival Ferrari – many people thought he was crazy.
The idea of creating a sports car-themed motorhome may seem even crazier, but given the passion and self-confidence that Lamborghini instilled into the production of his cars – you’d fully expect them to give it their very best shot.
The Lamborghini Countach LP 500 CAMP S 1971 edition is all about celebrating the spirit of having fun and showing off – the very things we associate with Lamborghini sports cars, only in motorhome form.
The downstairs interior consists of reclining leather seats, a foosball table and even an optional fish tank if you’re that way inclined.
In terms of the exterior design, the Countach LP 500 CAMP S takes inspiration from the classic Countach sports car model from the 1970’s – and is painted in traditional Lamborghini yellow.
This motorhome would be the ideal vehicle to travel around in a Mediterranean climate. There’s a luxury sun deck on the roof including a fully-functioning hot tub. Just try and avoid driving too fast while people are sunbathing or soaking in the tub (we know it might be tempting).
The DeLorean DMC-24
Retro Gamer Edition
If DeLorean were to create their very own version of a motorhome - it would most probably be a time machine on wheels (metaphorically speaking, of course).
That’s because the DeLorean DMC-12 was once widely regarded as the dream vehicle of the 1980’s pop culture era.
Fast forward to the present day, the nostalgia associated with that iconic car would form many of the characteristic of the DeLorean DMC-24 – the perfect 80’s-inspired motorhome.
The Retro Gamer edition, with its neon tubing, gullwing doors and accompanying array of gadgets, is painted in silver like the original DMC-12.
When you jump inside, you’ll be greeted by an interior that Wade Watts from Ready Player One would bask in. You’ll find board games, Rubik’s cubes, Tetris wallpaper and a Minecraft themed carpet.
You’ll find various games consoles reminiscent of their era, with a comfy sofa to enjoy your very own gamer’s paradise. There’s even a guitar thrown in there for good measure.
As Doc Brown said himself: if you’re going to build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?
As far as a DeLorean motorhome is concerned – there’s no reason why same principle wouldn’t apply.
The Porsche Campera
Luxury Travel Edition
Porsche boasts 70 years of sports car history.
To own a Porsche is an individual dream for many, but the idea of owning a Porsche vehicle you could actually live in - is more than enough to get pulses racing.
That’s where the Porsche Campera comes in.
If Porsche were to design a motorhome, it’s story would no doubt centre around luxury travel.
As a result, this would be a large vehicle consisting of two floors, wrapped in a silky exterior shell, painted glossy black.
The top floor consists of an exclusive camper’s lounge area, with a welcoming red interior and ice cold champagne bucket waiting for you. The same type of luxurious setting you’d expect footballer’s wives to enjoy.
This includes a grand chandelier, cosy seating, and a built-in bar – making the Campera the perfect place to host casual gatherings as you explore the most sophisticated corners of the continent in your motorhome.
Once you’ve enjoyed a few glasses of bubbly, you can retire to the sleek downstairs sleeping quarters to relax and unwind.
The Aston Martin Campsquish
Classically British in every sense, the Aston Martin brand is as internationally esteemed as it is culturally iconic.
The timeless appeal of Aston Martin spans decades, and is held in the highest of regard by most people – irrespective of personal character.
For instance, Aston Martin works as well for laidback ‘shaken not stirred’ types as it does for thrill seekers on the lookout for danger and excitement. And, while 007 himself might end up wrecking most of the fast cars he drives, we’re fairly certain if his vehicle was also his home, he’d take a little more care of it.
That’s why an Aston Martin-designed motorhome would include all the optional extras required to keep you safe on the road.
Loosely modelled on the famous Vanquish model, the Aston Martin Campsquish is painted in racing green – making it authentically British.
However, it’s only when you start to examine the inner-workings of the vehicle that things start to get really interesting. Within the bodywork, you’ll find an array of weapons including mini missiles and hidden machine guns.
Make your way inside, and you’ll discover some more subtle gadgets in the form of a briefcase and an umbrella.
You can even enjoy a dry vodka martini whilst consulting your radar map to get a handle on your motorhome’s surroundings.
