Another Award for Comfort!

We are really pleased to announce that we won a local business award in the innovation category this month. The judges highlighted our focus on streamlining our business and our ability to deliver a first class service to our customers.

“We are delighted to have been recognised for our commitment to innovation in these awards,” said Peter Cue, managing director of Comfort Insurance. “We were up against some tough competition but felt we had a good chance for being a local business with national reach.”

“To us, innovation reflects our focus on continuing to move forwards in a highly competitive environment to strengthen our relationship with the brokers who sell our products and to reach new customers.”

Our history of innovation stretches back to the early days, when we were one of the first insurance brokers to offer specialist motorhome insurance policies way back in the mid-90s. We have recently been focusing our attention on minimising paperwork by setting in place new systems, whilst sending out clear and concise paperwork to our customers. This has been instrumental in our other recent awards, most notably the Which Motorhome Magazine, Insurer of the year.

This year we have been working with leading the insurance industry IT specialist and long-term partner CDL to pioneer a new technology, designed to give brokers ‘self service’ control of dealing with clients. This has not just improved workflow but also enables us, and our brokers to take our broking businesses mobile to places such as trade shows through 3G wireless technology.

The awards are organised by Barking & Dagenham Enterprise which works in partnership with local enterprise groups and community organisations. The winners were announced at a Gala Awards Ceremony and were attended by more than 250 people from local businesses.

Looks like we’ll be needing a bigger trophy shelf at this rate!
