Hymer is a key brand within the Erwin Hymer Group (a subsidiary of THOR Industries) which accounts for 20.8% of the Europewide market shares for motorhomes and campervans. Along with Hymer, the Erwin Hymer Group includes a wide range of well-known motorhome conversion brands such as Bürstner, Carado, Dethleffs, Elddis, Etursco, Lakia, LMC, Niesman + Bischoff, Sunlight.
Hymer has more than 300 dealers and service partners worldwide. It has also released an app called 'Hymer Connect', in conjunction with several models, which allows Hymer vehicle owners to access vehicle information and control appliances digitally for added convenience.
H3: B-Class series
The most popular type of Hymer motorhome our customers take out our insurance for is the B-Class series range. This includes the following models:
- Hymer B-Class MasterLine: Built on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis, this motorhome is available as an A-Class or a low-profile. Hymer describes it as having "cutting-edge technology and iconic design". The A-Class MasterLine has four or five berths, meaning there's plenty of space for ideal family living. The low-profile vehicle has two or three berths and is semi-integrated.
- Hymer B-Class ModernComfort: Built on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis tractor head and the award-winning SLC chassis, this range is popular for being lightweight and featuring stable bodywork, while also being sporty and elegant – giving you the best of both worlds. Available as an A-Class or low-profile, with each type coming in three different layouts. The A-Class has four or five berths and the low-profile has anywhere between two and five.
- The Hymer B-Class SupremeLine: The elite of motorhome ownership, this model is one of the most spacious and comfortable vehicles on the market. Built on a Fiat chassis, it includes between four and five berths and plenty of headroom.
Exsis range
Hymer also boasts the Exsis range, which consists of both A-Class and low-profile vehicles based on a Fiat Ducato chassis.
- Hymer Exsis-i: This is the A-Class range, having four or five berths and including models such as the Exsis-i 580.
- Hymer Exsis-t: This is the low-profile range, which has three layouts available, all with two or three berths. For example, the Exsis-t 580 features fixed single beds at the rear that can be converted into a double.
Other models
The remaining Hymer motorhome models are the Hymer ML-T and the Hymer T-Class S, both of which are based on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis.
- The Hymer ML-T has three different layouts to choose from and two or three berths.
- The Hymer T-Class S also has three different layouts but features two to five berths and four seats.
