Owners Expecting a Busy Summer for all Forest Campsites

An expanding camping company have delighted motorhome and caravan users by announcing details of a prize draw to win a 2013 package which has a value of £1,800. Everyone who books a summer package on a Camping in the Forest campsite will be entered into the draw with the lucky winner being drawn on October 31st.

The competition coincides with the launch of their newly designed brochure which encourages campers to get closer to nature while enjoying their camping break. The brochure features twenty sites that are all located in unspoilt, idyllic locations with everyone guaranteed picturesque pitches. The new brochure will also include updated maps and facility information. There are Camping in the Forest sites to suit all tastes from full facility sites to something a little more rural. The company has taken a large number of bookings already from motorhome owners planning to experience the company’s camping sites for the first time. Of course motorhome owners should check their motorhome insurance policy covers them while they are on private sites.

All types of camper are catered for, from relaxing romantic breaks to an action packed family holiday. There is also an array of off-site activities available including fishing, cycling, horse riding and forest walks. Dedicated Forest Rangers will be on hand at some of the sites to help people of all ages safely explore the forest. Camping in the Forest are members of GTBS (Green Tourism Business Scheme), an environmental accreditation scheme for the tourism business and two of their sites have already been awarded the top Gold Award.

Bob Hill, Sites Director, said “Camping holidays are all about freedom and adventure. Eighteen of our Camping in the Forest sites have seasonal pitches so there’s plenty of choice for those campers who want to explore a new area without having to tow. We have also had an increased number of motorhome owners bookings pitches at most of our sites and it seems more people are deciding to holiday in the UK rather than abroad.”
