More about Chausson Motorhomes

Chausson is a French manufacturer of motorhomes, with all their vehicles being made at a plant in Tournon-sur-Rhône.

Motorhome production began in 1980, although the company itself has been operating since 1903.

As of 2017, there are Chausson dealerships in 15 countries across Europe.

Chausson has two different motorhome series – the Flash and the Welcome.

Here, we’re going to explain a little bit about each one. And talk about how you can get your Chausson motorhome insured with Comfort.

The Flash

The Flash series has lots of different models – of varying shapes and sizes.

Some are smaller and suitable for a single, or duo travellers. Whilst some are capable of hosting the entire family.

The design is pretty standard, classic motorhome. And inside you have all the necessary features you would expect.

Each model has a number assigned to it. I.e. the Flash 25, the Flash 09 or the Flash 04.

The higher the number, the more “premium” the motorhome is. Which means more space, and more luxuries.

The Welcome

The Welcome motorhome has just a single model – The Welcome 17.

It is quite a large vehicle, at 6.69 metres in length, 2.3 metres in width and 3.11 metres in height.

Which means there is plenty of space. Suitable for up to five passengers.

This is well and truly a family vehicle. It includes bunk-beds, a small dining table, and there’s space for a TV and DVD player.
