TV personality prepares to share top billing with campervan

Campervan insurance providers will be delighted to see yet another television celebrity prepare to give the United Kingdom an insight into travelling the country in a mobile home.

Lynda Bellingham has spent her whole life as an actress and has attracted millions of fans from her appearances on ITV’s lunchtime show “Loose Women” however, starting today she will be featuring everyday for the next four weeks on a show in which her co-stars will be members of the public and an old classic VW Campervan affectionately known as Battenberg.

The TV show, entitled My Tasty Travels will see Lynda travelling the length and breadth of the UK in her beloved Battenberg seeking out events and traditions that bring people together to enjoy the delights of food. The show will take in occasions from a basic family picnic in a park to giant street parties such as those that took place for the Jubilee celebrations. The show is being produced by South West filming experts Twofour Productions and not surprisingly will have episodes based in the “Campervan Counties” of Devon and Cornwall.

The show will see Lynda faced with cooking up a treat in each episode and she called in at the Trawlers on the Quay restaurant in Looe Cornwall for a few tips from local chef Jonathan Hancock. Jonathan demonstrated a local Sea Bream dish and said: “It’s always nice to do something different and I’m always more than happy to showcase the fantastic fish we have here in Looe; I enjoyed it but I don’t think I’ll be giving up the day job any time soon!”

There is no doubt that the campervan will take its fair share of the spotlight with many viewers which will be welcomed by all in the motorhome industry.
