Campervan enthusiasts will get the chance to revisit the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham sooner than they thought as NCC Events have announced the venue will be the setting for a new motorhome show in February 2013.
After the success of the October show at the NEC, NCC Events have now planned a Spring Motorhome and Camping Show for February 19-24. The show will be backed by the respective industries and visitors can expect to see exhibitors such as Bailey, Elddis, Swift, Trigano, Auto-Trail, Chausson, Autosleepers, Fifth Wheel, Carthago, Globecar, Frankia & Bavaria, Hobby, Rapido, Pilote, Vantage, Lowdhams, and Brownhills. The show will feature the best in mobile homes and accessories but at the same time will cater for those preferring static holiday homes, and tents, caravans and even lodges will be available for purchase at the event.
The show will once again cater for families as there will be four different areas featuring interactive possibilities and many with a water theme. Visitors can try their arm on the UK’s largest indoor kayaking pool or maybe have a go at the rod and reel angling pool. Youngsters will be impressed by the “dropdown” climbing wall while their parents will get the chance to improve the chances of keeping their motorhome insurance no claims bonus by taking advantage of the motorhome maneuvering tuition that proved so popular in October. As usual cooking will feature highly at the show and there is sure to be at least one celebrity chef in attendance.
Tickets for the show are already on sale and cost £8 for adults and £7 for over 60s, children under 16 get free admission.
