Spring Caravan Show at Birmingham’s NEC

From the 19th to the 24th of February 2013 the NEC in Birmingham is hosting The Spring Caravan and Camping show, sponsored by the Camping and Caravan Club. The event offers camping, caravan, and motorhome enthusiasts the opportunity to see the latest models from major manufacturers and dealers. Furthermore, there will be the chance to stock up on tents, camping gear, and leisure accessories as well as information on, and the ability to book new campsites, holiday destinations and attractions.

The tickets are only seven pounds in advance (with under sixteen’s being allowed in for free) which includes entry, parking and a show guide, meaning that they are great value for money. There have also been numerous attractions planned for throughout the show including celebrity appearances, competitions, and of course friendly advice from all the experts including information on motorhome insurance. There will also be information provided on folding caravans for those that wish to take part in the touring lifestyle but do not have the space to store a conventional caravan or motorhome. Throughout the week ‘put up’ and ‘fold down’ demonstrations will be performed by experts who will also be able to give advice on any other questions concerned with folding caravans.

Throughout the show there will also be the opportunity for guests to view over one hundred new tent models from manufacturers including Coleman, Outwell, Kampa, Sprayway, and Vango – some of which will be on display for the very first time. Along with the tents, experts from leading retailer PJ Camping will be demonstrating how to pitch and pack tents quickly and effortlessly, as well as give advice on any other aspects of camping to ensure that campers can get the most out of their holidays.

There is also the opportunity for those that are new to, or have never even been caravanning before to attend free fifteen minute tutorials that explain how to tow a touring caravan safely, efficiently and economically. The show promises to be an exciting trip for all, whether you are a beginner or an expert at camping and caravanning.
