It has been confirmed that Bill Oddie will appear this January at the Manchester Caravan and Motorhome Show. The Springwatch star will be appearing on Sunday the 20th of January at the World Entertainment and Cookery stage; however he is not the only celebrity featuring at the event. There will also be Countryfile presenter John Craven appearing on Saturday the 19th of January, and Marina Sirti,s who played Deanna Troi in Star Trek Next Generation, will be opening the event on the 17th of January.
Along with celebrities, the event is offering a range of attractions that will sure to be of interest for all caravan and motorhome enthusiasts. There will be over two hundred exhibitors at the event, as well as plenty of attractions to see and do throughout the four days including a ‘towing experience’ where visitors can have a free fifteen minute, one-to-one session on how to tow a touring caravan safely, efficiently and economically. The experience is in conjunction with Mitsubishi whom will also be exhibiting their 4×4 vehicles that are described as “the prime choice for just about any towing application.”
The show will also have a great selection of the latest motorhome models from leading manufacturers including Swift, Bailey, Autocruise, Auto-Trail, Romahome, Burnster, Hymer, and Volkswagen. There will also be a range of caravans on display, as well as friendly advice from experts that can advise you on holidays, purchasing new motorhomes, accessories and motorhome insurance. The event even has a Kidzone, where the Camping and Caravanning Club has teamed up with children’s entertainment experts Gulliver’s to provide activities for children every day throughout the event. Children can enjoy face-painting, balloon modelling, dancing, a mini-gym, surf simulators and special appearances and performances from the Gulliver’s characters.
Tickets are only £7.50 in advance and £9 on the door, whilst children under sixteen can visit for free. Not only that, every ticket to the Caravan and Motorhome Show includes free car parking at Event City, a free show guide, and free entry to the adjoining ‘Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show’ where you can talk to hundreds of travel companies and plan your perfect trip.
